Technical Commission to discuss the Commercial Code

In its September meeting, Amec’s Technical Commission will be discussing, among other topics, the bill that creates the Commercial Code in Brazil. The bill is now being considered in the House of Representatives under the responsibility of the Representative Paes Landim, who requested Amec’s CEO to collaborate with the project. Pending issues in the association’s agenda, such as the digital certification for the representation in Shareholders’ Meetings, can evolve with the bill. With this in mind, the Technical Commission will be counting on the participation of Otávio Yazbek, CVM’s Director, who has been studying the topic for a long time and will be sharing his view on it with the Commission’s members.
