Management Compensation Workshop
Amec – the Association of Capital Market Investors – will be holding the Management Compensation Workshop in Integração Escola de Negócios, located at Rua Manoel Guedes, 504, Itaim Bibi, São Paulo, SP, on November 17th, from 1:30 pm to 6:45 pm. The topic has been broadly discussed in international debates about governance, activism and the capital markets, but not in Brazil, where it has been addressed only on a superficial basis.
The change in the posture of a significant number of investors, the rejection of proposals in some companies, the bold initiative of the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission – CVM – in regulating the matter and the vision of the Brazilian Stock Exchange – BM&FBOVESPA – as to addressing it from different points of views in the new rules of the Novo Mercado show that the topic is here to stay.
