Amec CEO participates in the 40 years of the Corporate Law seminar

The CEO of the Association of Capital Market Investors – Amec, Mauro Rodrigues da Cunha, participated as a speaker in the seminar about the 40 years of the Laws 6.404/76 and 6.385/76 (Corporate Laws). The event was organized by the Brazilian Stock Exchange in São Paulo, on November 28th. Cunha was invited to take part in “The Market” panel, which addressed the point of view of companies, intermediaries and investors about the challenges to be overcome.
”Although it can always be further improved, our law is good, and we must work to make it more effective. All stakeholders in the law system have been doing a great work. Also, from the investors’ side, Amec has been collaborating through the launch of the Stewardship Code. However, regulators, self-regulators, companies, banks, attorneys and intermediaries must also participate and play their role.”
