Amec receives CVM to discuss the public hearing about the sanctioning process

On July 24, Amec’s members received the General Superintendent of the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission – CVM -, Alexandre Pinheiro dos Santos, at the association’s headquarters. The objective of the meeting was to deepen the discussion about administrative sanctioning processes and the imposition and dosimetry of penalties to enable a broader participation of the association and its members in CVM’s SDM 02/18.
The draft of instruction that marks a new milestone in the procedures related to the sanctioning activities performed by the CVM is available in the regulator’s website. Contributions to the public hearing will be accepted by August 17, 2018 and must be sent to the Office of the Superintendent of Market Development (SDM), preferably by email (audpublicaSDM0218@cvm.gov.br), or to Rua Sete de Setembro, 111, 23º andar, Rio de Janeiro – RJ, CEP 20050-901.
