AMEC’S ANNUAL REPORT SHOWS EXPANSION AND CONSOLIDATION IN 2024’S ACTIVITIES
Amec has published its 2024 Annual Report of Activities. Approved at the Association’s Annual Meeting, the report reflects Amec’s progress over the past year, highlighting its expansion in the private credit segment, in addition to its established presence in the stock market and its involvement in corporate governance in the capital market.
The report opens with the traditional Message from the CEO, signed by Fábio Coelho, which highlights the creation of the Association’s new Private Credit Commission, the CCP. The document contains two main articles: one on 2025’s outlook and the other specifically on the corporate debt market and Amec’s new front of operations.
The report then details various advocacy initiatives involving regulatory and oversight bodies, including different perspectives, case studies, events, and partnerships. It also includes a chapter on Stewardship and the collaboration with the CFA Society Brazil in developing and maintaining the Brazilian Stewardship Code (CBS). The final section highlights Amec’s communication initiatives, including publications, media appearances, and digital presence.
The Annual Report was approved at Amec’s Annual Meeting, which also approved the financial statements, balance sheets, and budget forecast for 2025. In addition, nominations were made for members of the Board of Directors and the Fiscal Council for the next two years.
