FÁBIO COELHO WILL HAVE A NEW TERM AS AMEC’S CEO, WHILE PAULO WERNECK WILL TAKE OVER AS CHAIRMAN
Fábio Henrique de Sousa Coelho, Amec’s current CEO, was reappointed to the position for the next two years. Meanwhile, Paulo Werneck, investment director at Vivest, assumed the chairman position at the institution’s Board of Directors.
The decisions were made at Amec’s Annual Meeting on April 29th.
“Amec has been instrumental in defending investors’ interests and promoting a more honest and efficient capital market. Being reappointed as president is a testament to the confidence in the work being done and the direction we are heading. Amec renews its commitment to strengthening the representation of its members and contributing to the evolution of Brazil’s investment environment,” stated Coelho.
