IBGC voices its opinion about the Provisional Measure 703/2015
The Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance – IBGC – has published its opinion against the Provisional Measure (MP) No. 703, of December 18th, 2015, which provides for leniency agreements established in the Law No. 12.846/13.
According to the Institute, the MP represents a retrogression in the original wording of the Anti-corruption Law, primarily because it impacts the adoption of the best corporate governance practices and the attracting of investments in Brazil.
